This is my personal blog, where I write about my interests in AI, machine learning, data science. I did my PhD in Christian Theology, using computational linguistics for study of the Greek New Testament. I'm currently working on projects related to AI and Bible translation with Biblica and the ETEN Innovation Lab. My team is developing AI tools for low-resource language translation leveraging Greek and Hebrew structured data in AI applications. You can learn more about our projects at Frontier R&D.

Note: I write up the posts in VS Code, and my usual AI tools are active. This means I am leveraging AI to write about AI. These posts represent my ideas, however, so I usually wind up deleting anything suggested by the Copilot except where it helpfully finishes my sentence or helps me find the word I'm searching for. If it finishes my sentence using prose from someone else's content, I'll happily rewrite it.Update: I don't use GitHub Copilot anymore (crossed out above, left for posterity). Over the past few years my AI tools have gone from line-completion, to file-editing, to design-partner, to fully delegated except where my judgment is actually needed. On this site specifically, I now use agentic AI to continuously integrate my notes and findings into a coherent stream of posts, organized by tag.
Sometimes the wording is very obviously AI-written, or the framing is a bit off, or context is missing — but the insights, learnings, findings, and experiences are mine. I'm not writing poetry here, so that's not the part I care about. Keep in mind the actual purpose of this site — documenting my learnings for myself and others to benefit from — and you'll get the most value out of what's written here.
